Affiliation begins a lifetime of
giving for most members of Alpha Chi Omega. We give
generously of our time and resources to advance women,
our chapters, and our national organization. Through
such gifts we are able to sustain opportunities for
women today and tomorrow.
Alpha Chi Omega has a rich history of philanthropy that
stretches back to our founding in 1885. Through
educational and leadership programs we provide
leadership training and opportunities for learning. We
honor our tradition of excellence in the fine arts by
supporting the MacDowell Colony. And Alpha Chi Omega
emphasizes supporting women in need through numerous
activities and fundraisers to benefit victims of
domestic violence.
The Alpha Chi Omega Foundation
is the philanthropic arm of the fraternity, providing
support to individual members, to chapters and to the
Fraternity in the form of educational grants. The
Foundation financially supports Leadership Academy,
IMPACT alpha chi omega, Kristin's Story, as well as many
other educational programs.
THE FOUNDATIONS MISSION: The Alpha Chi Omega Foundation
supports the educational and philanthropic purposes of
Alpha Chi Omega through effective fundraising and
stewardship of financial resources.
ENSURING CONTINUED SUPPORT FOR OUR SISTERS
Through Educational Assistance Grants, Member Assistance
Grants, Love & Loyalty Grants and Scholarships, the
Alpha Chi Omega Foundation provides merit and need-based
financial assistance to members and those closely
related to Alpha Chi Omegas, as well as chapters for
their members-demonstrating continued support for our
sisters.

As well as The Alpha Chi Omega Foundation, the Fraternity encourages our members to support victims of domestic violence through connections with local agencies and to assist in the development and implementation of programs and hands-on activities to educate themselves and others about domestic violence. Members can donate, volunteer, or work to change laws in our efforts to eliminate domestic violence.
The MacDowell Colony, located in
Peterborough, New Hampshire, was Alpha Chi Omega's first
altruistic project and upholds our tradition of interest
in the fine arts.
The seven Founders of Alpha Chi Omega joined together
for fellowship and to foster an interest in music and
the arts. In their honor, the Alpha Chi Omega Foundation
supports the arts through an annual contribution for the
maintenance of Star Studio at The MacDowell Colony. Star
Studio was built in 1911 with funds from Alpha Chi Omega
Fraternity.
All of this information and more can be found on our
National Website.
