Alpha
Chi Omega is a national
women's organization that
enriches the lives of
members through lifetime
opportunities including
friendship, leadership,
learning and service. There
are 131 chapters, from coast
to coast, with nearly 12,000
collegiate members giving
back to their communities,
developing life-long
learning habits, and making
friends that will last a
lifetime.
Alpha Chi Omega was founded
in 1885 as a women's
fraternity. Since its
inception, Alpha Chi Omega
has existed to assist
members in seeking the
heights. As beneficiaries of
the heritage and history of
Alpha Chi Omega, members of
Alpha Chi Omega strive to be
both true to and worthy of
the legacy of the
Fraternity.
The objects of this
Fraternity shall be to
encourage the spirit of true
sisterhood, to develop
through personal effort a
high moral and mental
standard, and to advance the
appreciation and practice of
fine arts among its members.
As the Delta Epsilon chapter we work together to donate our time and efforts to the Women’s Safe House. Alpha Chi Omega hosts item drives, volunteers at the local Women’s Safe House thrift store, adopts families, and participates in fundraisers for the Women’s Safe House. We believe "Together We Can Seek The Heights" and make a difference against domestic violence. Our Philanthropy event (Frisbee Fling) for the Fraternities on campus will be held April 21st this year. All benefits will be donated.
Greek Week 2012 is the week of March
26-31. This year we are paired with the men of Sigma Nu and the
women of Delta Sigma Theta. The overall theme is Red, White, and
Greek Week. We are ready to show our American Pride and contribute
to the Salvation Army, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and Make a Wish
Foundation. Come out to support us at Greek Sing and watch us
portray famous American TV families. For more information follow @SE_GreekWeek
